New York – September 9, 2020 – Argo Pro, a member of Argo Group International Holdings, Ltd. (NYSE: ARGO), an underwriter of specialty insurance and reinsurance, today announced Thomas Bongi as senior vice president underwriting, head of architects & engineers and miscellaneous professional liability, reporting to Argo Pro President Craig Landi.
“Tom has a long-standing track record of building and growing profitable books of business,” Landi says. “As we de-emphasize our focus on cyber insurance, Tom will apply his depth of knowledge in the more traditional areas of professional liability risk management. Bongi joins the Argo Pro team with more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. He comes to Argo from Brit Global Specialty USA, where he served as executive vice president for professional liability. Bongi graduated from California Polytechnic State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Later, Thomas received a Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law.
